Hi. Im Tia

Virtuous Element is my sewing space—something that took me a lifetime to build into something stable. I created this brand to support everyday people while sustaining a lifestyle rooted in freedom, creativity, and purpose. I truly believe what you wear can shift how you feel, how you move, and how you show up. When clothing fits well, it makes room for confidence. My goal is simple: help you feel good in what you have on, because loving what you’re wearing really does change everything.

Over the years, I’ve met so many people with different body types, and I’ve heard the same frustrations again and again—pants that fit in one place but fail everywhere else, sizing charts that don’t reflect real bodies, and “standard” patterns that require so many adjustments they start to feel discouraging. That’s exactly why I created Virtuous Element: for people who don’t fit neatly inside a standard size chart, especially those with disproportionate body shapes—like a smaller waist with wider hips, fuller thighs, longer legs, shorter inseams, or a rise that never seems to match what patterns assume. If you’ve ever tried on pants that fit in one area but pull, gap, twist, or feel uncomfortable everywhere else, you’re exactly who I’m here for.

My work focuses on fashion-meets-function through custom sewing support and fit-focused pattern services—especially pants pattern drafting. When I draft patterns, I’m thinking about real proportions, not just numbers on a chart. I pay attention to how your waist, hips, thighs, rise, and inseam work together on your unique frame. Whether you’re sewing for yourself or you want a pattern that finally makes sense for your shape, I aim to make the process clear, supportive, and empowering. Sewing shouldn’t feel like a battle with your body. It should feel like building something that honors it.

My love for sewing started with making “random things,” simply because I’m a creative at heart. Creating, reworking existing items, and imagining new designs is genuinely my hobby. If you want to see that playful and experimental side of me, check out The House of Zy—my Etsy shop filled with random creations I felt inspired to make.

Right now, I’m focused on finding the spaces where my services are appreciated and my products are valued—and on building a community that believes in craftsmanship, self-expression, and feeling good in what you wear. If you’re here for custom fit support, pattern services, or a sewing experience that feels personal and thoughtful, welcome—you’re in the right place.

And if you love small, intentional finds, I’d love for you to visit my gift shop, where I offer items like keychains, graphic tees, greeting cards, and more—little pieces meant to make you smile, celebrate someone you love, or add personality to your everyday life.
